Wisconsin Veterinary Student Awards Presented

Richard Renk (far left) and Richard Heins (far right), Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation, Inc. board members, presented $12,500 loans to each of five UW-Madison Veterinary students this fall.

The program was created to encourage and reward students who plan to pursue large animal practices in Wisconsin.

The 2009 recipients are from left to right: Neil Ruppel, Arlington; Dustin Lochner, Lodi; Christine Kohlman, Prairie du Sac; and Tiffany Paulus, Fredonia. Missing from the photo is Tod Brancel, Portage.
