You are an important part of fuelling dreams that will have an impact on rural Wisconsin.
Please meet Lydia Lobacz, one of the five WROF, Inc. 2025 Premier Scholars, who is turning her passion for agriculture into a brighter future for rural Wisconsin!
This fall, Lydia is attending Chippewa Valley Technical College to pursue her degree in Agribusiness and Agronomy. Lydia grew up on a dairy farm, which later transitioned into a crop farm where she continues to help with planting, harvesting, and day-to-day operations. In addition, Lydia also gained experience with modern milking technology and herd management at a local dairy robotic farm.
“Being part of both traditional and advanced farming operations has deepened my passion for agriculture and commitment to the rural community,” says Lydia.
Lydia is looking forward to learn innovative growing techniques and sustainable practices. When she graduates, Lydia hopes to work as an agronomist and help local farmers improve crop management, soil health, and overall efficiency by applying modern agricultural practices. By working with small farms, Lydia hopes to ensure that family farms will continue to thrive in an evolving industry.
Your generosity makes Lydia’s journey — and the journeys of other WROF, Inc. 2025 Premier Scholars — possible. Together, we are fueling dreams that strengthen rural Wisconsin’s bright future.
Thank you for investing in the next generation of rural leaders!
With gratitude,
